Google to Experimenting Live Updating Search Results (Video)
A screen capture demonstrate that Google is experimenting search-as-you-type feature. The screen capture provided by SEO consultant Rob Ousbey and subsequently confirmed by Google to TechCrunch as legit.
The capability would provide a wider range of results to users, especially when searching with a combination of words. The live results are updated as you enter each letter. This impressive feature (which reminds me of the defunct Wave) could put a burden on bandwidth and computing resource utilization.
Do not confuse with suggestive or assisted search where the search engine actively guesses what you’re about to search for when you type in a few letters of your query to formulate your search arguments. No search result was given during the process.

As a user of adwords I am concerned that my Quality Score for paid ads could drop if every cycle of the paid ads in real time (as per vid during process of typing) is counted towards the QS…I hope that Google gets it right or only counts the QS for the final set of ads delivered to the user.
