imageUsers can now jailbreak iOS 4 devices including the iPhone, iPad (iOS 3.2.1) and iPod Touch, with help of a new Web-based utility created by  the iPhone Dev Team.

Jailbreaking process allows users to bypass Apple protection for non-approved third party software and to be able to run the phone on different networks.

Few days ago, the U.S Copyright Office legalized  the process, despite the fact Apple threatens to void factory device’s warranty for jailbroken devices.

Some early reports indicate the process might disrupt FaceTime, the feature on the iPhone 4 that allows video chatting and MMS, which lets users send photos over SMS.

The process can be invoked, just by going to  JailbreakMe.com from the device Safari browser.

Update: Read HERE for instructions how to fix FaceTime and MMS
