Better Photo Sharing Experience with Facebook
Do you know the popular social network Facebook is also one of the largest repository of photos on the Web? To improve user experience, today Facebook announced the ability to share high resolution photos, “tag” friends in bulk and browse photos in a much better way. The new feature is rolling out gradually over the next few weeks.
Previously, photo size was limited to 720-pixel resolution and additional action such tagging friend was very slow process. The new uploading tools will give members the option to upload a photo in 2048-pixel resolution. Viewing photo also gets improved "It’s essentially going to happen very quickly, right when you click on the thumbnail," The product manager explained. "If you click on a photo and an album from a news feed, you can still page through the entire album."
