Microsoft Holds Windows Phone 7 Event In NY on October 11th

Microsoft will hold a press event in New York on October 11 to officially kick-off the launch of its mobile OS, Windows Phone 7, CNET has confirmed. The event will be a consumer-focused "open house". Further details were not immediately available.

We have seen increasingly reviews as well as videos showing devices running Windows Phone 7 including LG, Samsung, ASUS, HTC, etc..

Microsoft released the official final code to manufacturer at the beginning of September. Since the initial release Microsoft requires full control of its UI, we do not expect delay from the manufacturers.
