Tip: Use Yahoo! Search Pad to Store Notes, Search Results, etc..

When you research on the Web, Yahoo gives you an easy way to collect your findings in one scratchpad save, share them on social networking sites or via email. The tool called  Search Pad, which ends the frustration of having your research notes trapped on one computer.

From Yahoo search, you can click on any search result link, copy that URL will automatically create an entry and paste in to the Search Pad, you can organize or write additional notes. The feature was released sometime ago, but it is a very good alternative to Google Notebook. Especially Yahoo! search now has been revamped using Bing technology. It’s worth to give it a try.
