Flipboard, The 2010 Best iPad App Gets Better with its Latest Edition
After earning the “Best iPad App of The Year” and for its CEO, a place on Twitter board of directors, Flipboard wants you to be further amazed with its latest release.
Few days ago, we shared with you the addition of contents from major publishers. Contents are formatted especially for Flipboard app to have the magazine look and feel. Yesterday Flipboard, the RSS reader, pushed out another major release with notable inclusion of Flickr, Google Reader along with other improvements such sliding Web page preview and improved sharing features.
If you choose to add Flickr, Flipoard now includes your photostream, your favorites, groups, and more. .
Flipboard now has deep implementation of Google Reader. Folders and your friend’s shared items are available for viewing. You also have the ability to star, share, and comment on stories. .
The existing Facebook tile will allow you to browse through your Facebook groups, fan pages, and photos from your feed. For Twitter user, Tweets, Twitter Favorites, @mentions and lists are available as well as the ability to tap on an avatar to see the profile of that person…
The navigation has been improved, when you click on an article to enlarge it, a preview of the original Web page also appears at the bottom, you can flip it up to read the full page. For the some publisher, you will see a specially formatted page instead of the Web site.
