Blackberry is known and loved for its efficient frontal QWERTY keyboard and a small display navigated by a track ball or recent optical pad. RIM also tasted the water with the full touch screen format but only gets modest acceptance. The touch screen popularity might push the company to issue a hybrid version to please both camps.
The Blackberry Dakota essentially looks like BlackBerry Bold, but it sports a 2.8” VGA 640 x 480 touch sensitive screen. GSM, 5MP HD capable camera. 4GB storage with 768MB RAM, WiFi + personal hotspot capable and NFC (Near Filed Communication) chip included.
The device will be running on BlackBerry OS 6.1.
