imageShopKeep.com, a developer specializing in point-of-sale for PC and Mac, the solution is designed for small and medium size business.

The developer just extends its platform support to the iPad and the fist system will go live to  Joe coffee shop in Grand Central Terminal in New York. The point-of-sale consists of the iPad on stand and a printer to print receipt.

“The iPad POS is designed for coffee shops, bakeries or any specialty retail shop with fewer than 150 items. It prints receipts and pops the cash drawer like a standard register, but it takes up very little space”

The Web-based back-end application can track sales and manage inventory in real time.
