Third Party Apps Featuring AirPlay for iOS 4.3
In the latest iOS version, Apple opened up its AirPlay API to third party app developers. AirPlay is Apple proprietary technology that let iOS devices stream media file to Apple TV connected to your home TV.. Prior to iOS 4.3, the feature was only to Apple apps.
App developers need to modify their apps to enable the feature. Users should expect updates coming soon. As seen below, Apple is also promoting a new AirPlay enabled app section on its iTunes App store.
