INQ Cloud Touch, a Facebook Centric Phone Debuts

Industry Analysts estimated approximately 250 millions Facebook members uses mobile platform to interact with their friends. Mobile platform also fuels huge monetization potentials with local commerce to Facebook Places, etc..  

imageFacebook wants to be part of it. Until now, Facebook mobile strategy has been integration as an app to prominent mobile existing platforms, however running just as an app does not allow the company to tap directly into the built-in feature such contact list, IM, which are the viral foundation of Facebook to build its ecosystem.

Rumors have circulated for months that the Social Media company’s entertaining next move to partner with cell phone manufacturers to build a wrapper on Android OS for phones aiming to provide social experiences to users who live in Facebook universe. One of the partner is INQ and the other is HTC.

Today AllFacebook reports that INQ debuts its INQ Cloud Touch, the first centric Facebook phone  in U.K. U.K. has been seen at the test bed for larger scale distribution.

While there is no Facebook branding specifics on its case, the INQ Cloud Touch homescreen displays very obviously typical Facebook icon official images.
