Steve Jobs WWDC Keynote Introducing Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud
Apple just issued an official statement announcing its CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will introduce its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS X; iOS 5, and iCloud, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.
The company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m PST.
The event is normally reserved for software developers with technical sessions, but for worldwide consumers, this will be the platform that Apple unveils new software and service.
This year, all eyes and ears will open up for the long rumored iCloud, that finally will be unveiled. The service is aiming to cut the cord from the mobile devices to PC/Mac and to bring contents to the Web with over-the-air synchronization. There will be no upcoming hardware announcement at this event.
