Acer Iconia A500-10S32U 10.1" 32GB Tablet
The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is the latest Android Honeycomb that all of a sudden invades many retail locations in Southern California. The 32GB WiFi only version goes for $490 at Costco. The 16GB model A500-10S16u goes for $450. The device delivers solid performance and features including dual core Tegra 2 CPU, HDMI port with cable included and the USB port in addition of a microSD card slot that many competing products could dream off.
On the OS side, the Acer Iconia inherits the HoneyComb Android 3.0 treatment from the get go.
The Iconia has two-tone body with black and brushed aluminum. The 10.1” tablet is slightly heavier than the iPad but comparable to the Motorola Xoom. The Iconia offers a wider screen, which is perfect for full screen 16×9 viewing.
