Apple iCloud to Bring Your Medias, Photos, Backup, Docs to The Internet And Automatically Sync to Other Devices.
The most important piece of technology that ties Apple ecosystem with all the company hardware is iCloud, a suite of solutions aiming to take personal information to the Web and make them available seamlessly across Apple devices.
Users will no longer need to sync contents between Apple devices they own. Contents available on one device such the iPhone can be sent to the cloud immediately and will be pushed down to other devices automatically without human intervention.

Daily automatic backup over WiFi is part of the iCoud offerings : your important contents such purchased music, apps, and books back up your camera roll photos & videos device settings and app data are backed up to the cloud. If you ever get a new phone, you type in your apple ID and password and everything will automatically be loaded up onto that phone automatically.
Documents produced by iWork suite are also sync’ed to the cloud and to other devices.
iCloud Storage APIs are available for developers works across all iOS devices and Macs & PCs.
Photo Stream is another nice solution to make photos available across devices including Apple TV and Windows PC (My Pictures Folder). the latest 1,000 photos are sync’ed to the cloud for 30 days for free.
iTunes is the latest component that goes to the cloud, purchased contents can be downloaded to other devices belong to the same Apple ID – Up to 10 devices.
Each user can have 5GB of free storage, which does not include music, book. photo stream.
For media contents that you did not purchase from iTunes, Apple offers $25/ year iTunes Match service, which scans your contents, if the same contents are available on iTune, Apple will make them available on your iCloud without the need to upload them.
