Augmented Reality Cinema for iPhone Concept

For movie fans, I am sure it has happened more than once that you visit a famous landmark where a movie was shot. An upcoming app called Augmented Reality Cinema, will help you to revive that landmark with actual movie clip overlaid right from your iPhone/ iPad using augmented reality when pointing to the exact position.

The app is still in conceptual phase and is calling for involvement from movie studios and collaboration from other developers. The below video shows promising outcome  nevertheless.

This is fine example of using AR, which regretfully has not seen much gaining in popularity since it was made available from the device/OS makers.
