Verizon Releases The Third Generation of Motorola Droid
Motorola and Verizon just made available their third generation of the iconic Android smartphone, the Droid 3.
Keeping the same form factor, the new flagship has earned better specs when compared to the second generation. Specs include 1 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB, 8MP camera that can capture 1080p video, 960×540 qHD display. The keyboard got a nice enhancement with an additional numeric keys on top and lastly a front facing camera for video chat. The Droid 3 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The size also gets a boost to 4” to measure up with most high-end smartphone. The phone is available at $200 with the new usage-based data plan and 2-year contract. A month-to-month (no contract) Droid 3 costs reasonably at $400.
