Tango, New Windows Phone Video Chat Feature

Microsoft is gearing up for its Windows phone re-launch with a new version of Windows codenamed Mango as well as new hardware from HTC, LG, Samsung and for the first time Nokia.

Mango will bring some latest and much needed features for modern smartphone such multi-tasking, Bing integration, Voice-to-text, etc..

The latest is Tango, a FaceTime-like feature for video chat. What Tango shines is the cross-platform capability that allows users from Android, iOS, Windows to communicate. As Microsoft acquired VoIP giant Skype, the integration should be natural.  Below is a demo of Tango running on the HTC Titan, a smartphone sporting a giant 4.7” screen and an ultra-slim 9.9mm unibody contoured design.
