Sprint Will Be on the Spotlight at iPhone Event
Last minute rumors always seem unbelievable, but this time they come from the Wall Street Journal and elaborated by BGR. Both allude to an exclusive deal of US third carrier Sprint and Apple. According to the deal, Sprint has committed to buy $20 billion worth of iPhone that mounts to approx 30 million iPhones for the next four years, until 2014.
If business is as usual, WJS’s Walt Mossberg probably has played with Apple new toy for the last two weeks, his journal should’ve heard one or two things about the iPhone announcement.
Furthermore, rumors state Sprint will have iPhone 5 exclusivity with faster processor, larger screen, more MP cameras, NFC onboard, Multiband 3G Qualcomm chipset, etc… where the 2 larger existing iPhone carriers AT&T and Verizon will have the iPhone 4S as consolation price. They have to wait until 1Q of 2012 to get the latest generation iPhone. All will feature iOS 5 with the revolutionary voice enabled assistance,
The truth will be known in jest few hours !
