Barns & Noble New Nook Tablet Aiming Kindle Fire
Just after 1 day after the first delivery of the anticipated Kindle Fire, rival Barns & Noble is rumored to make available a faster 7” Nook Tablet with twice the performance of the announced Kindle Fire, according to leaked document obtained by Engadget.
The leaked document reveals the $249 Nook Tablet comes with a dual core CPU, 16 GB of storage and weighs 14.1 ounces. The 1024 x 600 screen resolution featuring VividView IPS color touch-panel. B&N is touting ”twice the selection” of applications, “twice the power” and “twice the built-in memory,”
B&N has scheduled a press event on November 7 to announce the new tablet. The price of Nook color has been dropped $50 to $199.
