Walmart Offers iOS App
To answer to Amazon’s Kindle Fires used as online shopping catalogue among other things, the largest retail store chain has released 2 apps for iPhone and iPad aiming to enhance shopper experience.
The iPhone App allows building shopping list to prepare for your next trip to the brick and mortar store.
The app lets shoppers use voice to input items and ring up the total as the items are added. Users will be notified if coupons are available via the integration of Coupons.com. Full description and review of each item are available for making the purchase decision. Upon completion, your shopping list can be emailed to your wife or husband before she or he’s hitting the store, where users can use the same app to navigate directly to the aisle where the items are located. Walmart will implement a suggested route to save you time to collect all items from your shopping list.
The iPad version has all the features of the iPhone version, in addition, it lets users check inventory from the company Web site as well as local store inventory.. Both apps provide access to product information details, including customer ratings and reviews.
