As highly anticipated and ahead of E3, Nintendo unveiled the details of its new Wii U GamePad today.
The gamepad can work in pairing mode with your living room TV or as independent gamepad.
In addition to multiple sensors, the 6.2” touch-screen equipped pad features a range of Infrared and NFC communication to interact with game play as well as payment method.
Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed during a streamed presentation (see below) in advance of this week’s E3 game conference.
Iwata also highlighted the multi-living room game play capability as well as social networking with Miiverse.
The device continues to work with the existing Wii accessories. A new controller called Wii U Pro will be available to more hardcore gamer.
