The iPhone 5 has been around for few weeks, after the initial excitement of its slender body and its feather weight.. are wearing out, now it comes to the productivity. The iPhone 5 does not add battery life to its predecessor and it could even worsen as time goes by with its 4G LTE and larger screen juice consumption.

image Since the iPhone does not feature removable battery, until now, Morphie case has been the popular choice for serious iPhone users. The case brings additional juice to the iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 has new form factor, it can’t no longer be used.

A Kickstarter  project is underway called iExpander. The case maker promises to double the iPhone 5′s battery life; expands memory with an microSD slot, adds more brightness to the camera flash and lastly, built-in Lightning to 30-pin connector adaptor.

The case features a built-in 1420 mAh pack to add to the standard iPhone 5’s 1440mAh battery. This addition unfortunately doubles the thickness of the device. Even with the built-in 30-pin, many docks will not work with the extra thickness.

You can pledge the project starting from $75 HERE!

I’m in bad financial times right now, or I would be a Kickstarter for you. I love your product and can’t wait until it is a reality. What do you think this will cost? Thanks, Roy
