Sport & fashionable eyeware maker Oakley just announced its latest smart ski goggles dubbed as Airware. The augmented reality goggles features: heads-up display technology similar to Google glass project; a remote control; GPS; Bluetooth; accelerometer; barometer and gyro sensors.
Pertinent data such speed, distance, altitude, location, POI etc.. gets displayed on crisp, widescreen graphics using innovative prism technology. This technology provides a heads-up display perceived to be the size of a 14-inch screen viewed from a distance of 5 feet.
The goggles uses Bluetooth connectivity to interface with your smartphone via the optional app on iOS or Android. Users can view incoming calls and text messages heart rate monitor and more..
