The popular magazine-like news reader Flipboard is rolling out a specific version formatted especially for Android tablets. Devices include the Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Galaxy Tab, Kindle fire, Nook, etc…

Until now, Android tablet users have to upscale the smartphone version of the app. Flipboard was initially available for the iPad and the iPhone.

After you downloaded the app from the appropriate app store, you can start browsing and adding selected content by tapping the red ribbon in the upper right. Tap the + button to add to your list. The app requires an account to save your reading selection and your social networks.

The app can display article, images, photos, blog entries, Flipboard curated contents, sound from SoundCloud.com, Facebook,  Twitter updates, etc…
