Today, Nokia added a low cost Windows Smartphone to its line-up. The Lumia 620 is priced at $249 unsubsidized. The device is aiming to cater to the existing feature phone owners looking to jump to smartphone bandwagon.
Similar to its siblings, the 620 comes in various lively color casing in addition to the new “dual-shot” technique that provides a color blending with translucent polycarbonate layering.
The hardware features include 3.7” display; 1GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus; NFC; 5MP back and VGA front camera equipped with the infamous low light capable lens. The exclusive photo app lets users add animations to still photos; create a single; enhanced shot from multiple images, and remove objects from a photo. Nokia HERE maps app is included with Augmented Reality Nokia City Lens, which will overlay relevant data on buildings seen through the viewfinder.
The Lumia 620 will be available first in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Canada. There is still no word on availability State side.
