The KickStarter project myIDkey is another attempt to solve the ever-increasing password and ID to remember dilemma across on or off the Web services.
The solution consists of a sturdy USB stick that can be attached to your keychain. You can manage, store ID’s, associated passwords, information or files via your computer, iOS, Android companion apps.
In order to retrieve your sensitive information, you first swipe your finger to the built-in biometric reader to unlock and use your voice to search the data you are looking for or simply let the wireless feature of the device detect and fill out the ID and password for you as needed.
‘myIDkey’ is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. with the goal of raising $150,000 by March 22nd. The project has reached $300,000. To buy the myIDkey you’ll need to donate at least $79, which the company, Arkami, says is $100 off the retail price.
