Today Nokia unveiled its large new Windows Smartphone, the Lumia 1520 with screen measured 6”. The first Windows Phone that offers the alternative to large screen fans. Until now Android has been the only choice. Getting in to this space also allows Nokia and Microsoft to grab more market share with the absence of Apple iPhone.
The device sports a vibrant HD 1920 x 1080 LCD 6” display wrapped with thin bezel and glossy colorful polycarbonate case. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is equipped with the Qualcomm Quad-Core Snapdragon 800, clocked at 2.2MHz. Nokia phones are famous for their high mega pixel camera, the Lumia 1520 carries the tradition with a Pureview 1/2.5-inch, 20MP sensor with dual LED flash. The device support RAW/DNG format for post editing convenience. The device is said to last 12 hours of normal use.
The 16GB model cost $200 with a two-year AT&T contract.
