The first product comes out of the acquisition of Virtual Ubiquity is Adobe Buzzword, an online Word processor that truly is both feature-rich and esthetically crafted.

The Web-based application offers traditional features such  copy and paste, find and replace and advanced formatting.

The popular sharing and collaborating option are also included.

Buzzword is based on Adobe Flash technology, but its offline capability using Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) is not yet available.

The offline capability reportedly will offer almost identical look and feel to its online version.

This Flash based Word processor left the other online competitors using Ajax such Google Docs, SOHO, etc.. way behind…

When you first launch, the app may complain that your browser is not on the support list (e.g. Firefox 3). However you can choose to Start Buzzword with an unsupported browser. The app will run just fine.
