PicLens, a Firefox plug-in that can display Google/Flickr/DeviantArt image search result  with a wall of animated full-screen 3D experience.

Cooliris just launched the new PicLens v.1.6.3 with YouTube compatibility. The plug-in is compatible with Firefox up to the latest beta 3.

PicLens’ 3D YouTube search can be accessed direct from the video site, as well as via the PicLens button in your browser toolbar. The selected video can play in full screen or in Piclens screen.

Read more at Cooliris blog!

I installed and tried the new version. I can not seem to find the Piclens toolbar button from YouTube site as above indicated.

The only way to activate the YouTube function is to go Google image search first then hover the mouse on any image search result, click on the little gray arrow on bottom left, this takes me to the Piclens screen, from there, open the top right search window to select YouTube.

Please let me know if it works for you!

Update: Actually it is easier than I initially thought. The PicLens button is located on top right corner of the Firefox browser. Just click that blue arrow to launch Piclens screen

Microsoft - Windows Marketplace

For Twitter user only (If you are still wondering what Twitter is, read HERE!).

In Twitter Ecosystem, anyone can follow other members and reciprocally.

Twitter Karma is a nifty Web-based tool that allows you to view who you follow and who are following you. Under each Avatar, there are 2 arrows (green and red)   that indicate the status. The tool also allows to bulk “unfollow” just by checking to the check box located next to the name. (there is also bulk “follow” option that I still don’t know its purpose yet).

Twitter Karma requires your Twitter id and password but promises to use it only for the purpose of gathering the status for this display.

You can follow SolSie.com so you can “watch every move we make” just by clicking the Twitter banner on the sidebar.  [Thanks Scott J.]

Another simpler online search service with similar with results powered by google image search is CreativSpace:  http://www.creativspace.at/,

unlike SearchMe, which allows the category selection, Creativspace only returns images. Nonetheless it is much fun than just use Google search images.

Once the search results are shown, use the slidebar to browse the images.
