The TV quality as well as the reception seem to be excellent according to the review.
Unfortunately, in the US. MediaFLO; FIOS TV are the TV broadcasting standards adopted by the Wireless carriers with cost associated. I think these are equivalent of DVB-H elsewhere.

| First up, here’s a 13 minute video of the Lenovo Ideapad U8 Mobile Internet Device (MID). It’s one of the more unique hardware designs, with it’s flared end, special limited edition Beijing 2008 Olympic color scheme, and hardware number pad, for T9 text entry. In the video, I take a detailed look at the hardware (Intel Atom processor, two cameras - the rear one is 2.0 megapixels, SD slot, GPS, USB ports, etc.), and spend some time poking around with the software/user interface: |

Today, I had sometime to spend with the HTC Touch Cruise. A small Windows Mobile Professional Smartphone (touchscreen) with full of capabilities.
From the outside, this small device sports a flush screen without apparent bezel. The face is covered with a plastic material with glass look. The rest of the device is made with good quality soft plastic in austere black and gray that have become HTC signature colors.
On the top right, you find the camera for video calling. On both sides, there are small glowing lights indicating the Connection/ Battery/ Bluetooth/ WiFi status based on colors green, blue, yellow.
The 2.8″ QVGA screen features the now, famous HTC TouchFLO with 5-way navigation using the finger touch. The TouchFLO interface seems to be more responsive than the HTC Touch that I tested previously. I rarely have to flick the finger twice to execute a command - 128MB RAM might’ve made the difference.

Is The Screen Resolution Important to You?
When the stand-alone PDAs were still popular. The few devices featuring VGA screen seemed to make big difference in popularity contest. Granted the image, text, Web page rendering were spectacular (see some comparison HERE!) but the downsize is more computing, memory, battery needed, however the stand alone PDA could easily overcome the shortcomings.

As the industry moves further to the converged device or Smartphone(PDA+Phone). The new devices have different imperatives such constant on Cellphone radio, quicker response time, longer battery life, etc.. The device manufacturers focus more on QVGA screen. Beside, the popular smaller screen size (2.8″) would also make the pixels look better.
