Despite being discontinued, The Dell 624 MHz Axim X51 is still a power house for today standard.
Granted this does not have the VGA display as its sibling X51v, but look on the bright side, the QVGA display consumes much less power to let you go through the day. Unfortunately, I have not found a new WM6.1 ROM for it (however, you can follow the development HERE).
The latest WM6.1 ROM for X51v version has turned out to be the greatest ROM I have tested so far. It truly makes WM device to what it should have been from the beginning. There is no need to worry about the close app function, BT A2DP, WiFi work flawlessly, no hacks needed.
You can use the X51 for more than just a PDA (contacts, calendar, tasks). You certainly can add GPS (with additional Bluetooth GPS receiver & maps), Browsing the Web, MP4, YouTube player, etc..
