Firefox 3 Beta 5 Fixed Yahoo! Mail
As much as I loved the Firefox 3 Beta 4, I couldn’t really use it for my production machine yet due to some unsupported extensions and the new Ajax Yahoo! Mail that crashes every time a message gets deleted.
Today, Firefox 3 Beta 5 has been released with more than 750 fixes, one of them did fix the Yahoo! Mail…(yay!). The developers also claim some considerable speed gains when browsing complex Java scripted pages.

If you are on the conservative side. Firefox doesn’t allow to use both versions on your desktop. Folks at PortableApps.com have already made a portable version that you can install on an USB stick or a separate directory of your desktop so you can switch between the 2 versions.
