The latest release candidate for Firefox 3 was released last week. While it brings lots of improvements, there are still compatibility issues with various Web sites or Web apps services and add-on extensions.
As you know, you can only install 1 instance of Firefox on your machine but luckily, folks at PortableApps.com just released the latest Firefox RC1 in portable form. This will let you install the new browser on a portable USB stick or on a different folder of your desktop while still keeping your current Firefox environment intact.
