Rumor 2 New Touch Screen Phones By Philips

Philips seems to  jump back in to the handset market with 2 new full touch screen phone devices, the X800 and  Xenium X-Connect. The latter one will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.x..(bottom photo)

The initial rumor reveals standard features on the X800: Display: Type TFT touchscreen, 256K colors Size: 240 x 400 pixels (Wide QVGA), 2.9 inches

The Xenium X-Connect features include 624 MHz XScale CPU, 3″ display, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA, a microSD , GPS, etc..

The initial launch will be for the Chinese market.

Philips produced some PocketPC devices in the past with the Philips Nano and Philips Velo.
