Asus: Apple Tablet PC is Real, We Are Going to Make Them!
According to Cnet Crave team who discovered: "Asus is helping Apple build a Tablet PC.". Knowing Asus is Apple’s contract manufacturer and It’s one of the companies build the iBooks, PowerBooks and MacBooks, It is believable.
Further confirmation from source at Asus saying that the Apple Tablet will not be based on existing Asus designs such as the R1. It will come from a completely new blueprint, possibly based on the patent Apple filed back in May 2005. It is possible the new device willl be based on Intel Core architecture, a tweaked version of Leopard, and have all the multi-touch, CoverFlow goodness that make Apple UI so famous.
Several questions have been raised about the Apple success on this platform, on which, many have failed to gain popularity. But we all know by now, when you challenge Steve Job…What he can do!
