Use Pandora, Hulu, etc. Everywhere

Big 9 media copyright rules restrict services like Hulu and Pandora to be used on US soil only. And the annoying part is US international travelers are subjected to this limit too. If I go outside of the US, these services are out of reached.

I have heard several times at KenRadio mentioning the circumvention is to use a paid VPN service. But this tip-off of something profiled at CoolBlog: a tool called Hotspot Shield. The program works to

create a Virtual Private Network (VPN) that prevents websites from seeing that you’re outside the site, and according to usage reports, doesn’t slowdown the connection as using a Proxy service. The main purpose of Hotspot Shield is to protect hotspot user, but test reports say that it allows all folks to regain access to Hulu, and Pandora.

To install it, just follow the instructions on http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/ and you’ll be able to see those Hulu videos within a few minutes!
